About La La Land
La La Land is the yellow coffee brand founded in 2019 by Francois Reihani. Fueling society with caffeine and optimism, it specializes in matcha and espresso drinks topped with its signature cloud and baked goods made with high-quality ingredients. From a single Dallas cafe, La La Land has grown to 30+ locations across Texas, California, Arizona and Tennessee. Known for its warm hospitality, it has become a destination as much as a cafe. Through La La Land Cares, that spirit extends into action.

In Dallas, hotel lobbies and bookstore cafes are reliable places to work or meet when neighborhood cafes are full, and most grocery stores open early with a coffee bar or bakery counter near the entrance. Across Texas, gas-station and convenience-store coffee is the practical option on the road, and many bars open in the morning as coffee shops before switching to cocktails at night. Check the listing for hours, parking and the Google rating, and call ahead for coworking day passes or espresso-machine repairs, which are usually by appointment.

Dallas is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Dallas follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Calling La La Land Cafe in Oak Lawn just a coffee shop feels like a massive understatement. It is an absolute high-energy happiness portal with espresso, and easily the funniest, most welcoming spot in town. From the second we walked inside, the bright, gorgeous decor and infectious energy from the friendliest staff on the planet instantly lift our mood. It’s impossible not to smile while browsing their hilarious hats and cute bags.(my favorite was the hat that said Dont be a Dick!) The menu is just as incredible as the vibe. The La La Latte and the Cloud Latte are both superb, crafted to perfection and so smooth. As for the pastry case, it will completely test your self-control, but the Pumpkin Roll is non-negotiable. Imagine the ultimate mashup of a classic cinnamon roll and rich pumpkin spice—it is OMG good. With plenty of comfortable indoor seating to kick back, relax, and soak in all the positive energy, stopping here is hands down the absolute best way to start your day in Dallas. Totally recommend!

There are some people camping here with laptops and blankets. I don’t know if they’re allowed it, but that’s decreased the atmosphere. 7 girls behind the counter did the bare minimum of their jobs even when it’s not rush hour. You need to check on the drinks by yourself on whatever they put out because they’re not going to call your name even when they’re not so busy. The cashier also was too busy to greet the customer even when it was slow hours. I would expect a better service when you charge $7 for a latte compared to SB. SB has a lot better customer service overall. The store also has very small noise. It’s funny because all customers are quiet on their screens, but the noise was from the staff chitchatting.

La La Land is one of those places where I would love to give it 5* based off vibes but can't. I've gone through a mix of matchas and coffees here, and they are all equally mid. The specialty drinks are about the same as the base drinks but with extra visual flair. The lattes always taste like watered down bitterness. The matchas are slightly better, but I find that some of the matcha powder settles at the bottom, and that the overall drink is watered down and earthy. Not at all worth the $9 price tag for each drink. The vibes are good. The design is certainly cheerful, and the staff are nice and friendly.

I got to this place just before closing! I was so happy that they still served me because I really wanted to try this place! The guy taking my order was nice and friendly! I got a tiramisù latte and it was like I was biting into a slice of tiramisù cake! It was a dessert in a drink! It was very good! I will definitely go back and try other drinks on the menu!
